Yin Yoga is a slow paced style of yoga. The postures are held for longer periods of time compared with other styles of yoga. Yin yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body. This helps to increase circulation to the joints and improves flexibility.
This yoga style is also a more meditative style of yoga. The primary objective is to cultivate inner stillness, to bring balance and harmony to our physical, mental and emotional state.
Everyone participating in Yin Yoga with me will need to have a signed waiver on file. I ask that the first time we are together, you bring a printed and signed copy.
